Unfortunately, the 'gay propaganda' laws instituted in homophobic Russia were inked here in the United States.

McDonald's and Coca Cola: SPONSORS OF VIOLENCE ON LGBT

The next time you are buying that Big Mac with a large Diet Coke, ask yourself if it's worth it?  When LGBT are being brutally assaulted without punishment for just being themselves, Americans are funneling their money to fuel this behavior.  The YouTube video link below is a sampling of what McDonald's apparently feels is part of "diversity" in their statement with regards to Sochi Winter Games.

McDonald's Sochi Sponsor: Golden Arches or Golden Showers?

How big does the rock have to be to hit McDonald's in the proverbial head to realize, "Bad is BAD and good is GOOD"

One would think that they have mastered the art of marketing.  With slogans like "I'm Lovin It" swirling in the toilet, no slogan or jingle is going to pull them out of this one way luge to the septic tank.

The only thing that they are going to do is to pressure the International Olympic Committee to find another venue.

Look, we all realize that Russia breached the contract that qualified them for hosting the games when they enacted the 'gay propaganda' laws.  Laws with criminalize publicly and openly being LGBT.  Kissing in public or holding hands in a restaurant for same sex couples can land you in jail with a heavy fine.  You can be gay, you just need to be in the closet.  Not like that doesn't generate its own issues.

So this state sponsored genocide continues to be enforced on anyone attending the winter games in Sochi.  McDonald's, grab a bigger rock because THERE IS GOING TO BE PUBLIC OPPOSITION TO THIS AT THE GAMES.  Six months out from the games and we have Russian athletes making profound gestures.

Here is where McDonald's walking away from these games and moving them or even running off with the other sponsors to host their own games, will make a financial killing.....forever.  McDonald's could be the leader of the pack on behalf of humanity to say and genuinely mean that they will not sponsor this homophobia.  Can you imagine the loyalty from the LGBT community?  The eternal goodwill that would be accomplished by such a beloved and influential American icon would be unfathomable.  They would definitely look like heros.

The contrary will definitely lose the respect and business of the LGBT community.  We will be singing "Have It Your Way" when ordering flame broiled burgers.  People will opt for granola bars over chicken nuggets while traveling until they can find a respectable vendor.  Many have started cutting McDonald's and Coca-Cola out and replacing with KFC and Pepsi.

So when the stuff hits the fan in Russia....which it will, get ready to run.  We will be on your door step with hundreds of pride flags and banners, wanting our pound of flesh.  Everyday that these games are continuing to be sponsored in Russia, is another missed opportunity to be the hero in all this.

Depeche Mode's People are People says it best.  'I can't understand, what makes a man.  Hates another man.  Help me understand.'

Olympic Sponsors of the Second Holocaust

Corporations are in damage control mode right now.  Many of these sponsors have, in the past had a great or excellent reputation for supporting LGBT and equality.  Now with millions about to be slung into a promotional nightmare, these companies are being pressured to do the right thing.

The holocaust began with rounding up the Jews, the homosexuals, the political dissidents and jailing them because they were being who they are.  Others who escaped, where pretending to be what they were not in order to just survive.

Sound hauntingly familiar?  LGBT people are being told that they cannot be whom they are.  They need to hide it.  Any public display of being gay or affectionate to the same sex, results in being jailed.

How much longer do we wait until the "ethnic cleansing" begins?  What method will they use to dispose of all this carnage?

Genocide has already begun.  The total eradication of a race of people because they are who the are.  Through legislation, the LGBT community no longer exists in Russia.  This is legislative induced GENOCIDE.

These sponsors have an obligation to HUMANITY to pressure the International Olympic Committee to do the right thing.  We cannot let these games move forward in Sochi.  They must find a new location that will allow everyone attending the games to be who they are.  If Russia chooses not to participate, that is their loss.  If they do compete, then they will see that people are people.  Discrimination works both ways.  When you seek to empower yourself through the oppression of a minority, eventually humanity will prevail.

The vendors that support these games should worry greatly about the loyal customers they have now.  They will buy other products.  Everyone of these supporter of homophobic games has a comparable competition that is about to get a lot more wealthier if these games proceed in Russia.

Word to the wise.  It is always better to walk away from a bad situation and lose money invested, than to lose your entire loyal customer base to save what you invested.  You will more likely NEVER regain the trust of those you have deserted.

Try as you might by using key words like "diversity".  We are not buying it at this point.  Tolerance is NOT diversity!!!  ACTIONS speak louder than the words you are using.

StonewallAGAIN: Our Time Has Come

When we look at where the LGBT community is today, we have to really thank the B and the T.  For if those founding drag queens hadn’t starting kicking off their heels and run into the night screaming, we would be in a similar situation to what our Russian brothers and sisters are currently in.  State imposed genocide.

Sochi Winter Olympic Games presents us with a unique scenario to reflect about where we are as a community.  This is a time for us to unite.  However, it is a time to us all to really reflect on WHO we are and HOW we treat each other in our own community.

When people talk about LGBT, they think Gay Gay Gay.  There are other letters in the acronym, but they fall silently away.  LGBT is more than young white underwear models with tight tuchus and pretty hair.  Sadly, that is what people see in their mind.  Or the opposite is true, dirty lecherous creeper in a raincoat flashing children.  In reality we know that we are not that.

That hidden in the Pride Flag rainbow there are different shades of Purple, Blue and Pink that represent the bisexual and transgendered people.  I think now is exactly the time for these colors to shine through.  I think that we need to have a conversation about who B and T are and why it is important to recognize them.

In the general population, people do not understand the gay community.  Obviously in Russia, they have no concept of diversity or recognizing individualized contribution that each person brings to their culture.  As we have seen and I have personally experienced, if you say you exist then people are aware.  I personally am out at work.  It doesn’t matter and no one cares.  If anything, people come up to me and ask me questions about my world.  They genuinely want to understand me and share in my life.

I think the Bi and Trans world are in a similar situation within the LGBT community.  No one understands them.  I know that I didn’t understand until I started to talk to and be around openly bisexual and transgender people.  They are real.  Once they became a real entity in my world, I could ask questions; hear what they did differently than me and what they were interested in.  We have lot of the same things in common.

So as we face this great tradgity in our community about Russian oppression, we need to reach out to help and help with understanding.  We need to make sure that we are reaching out to everyone in this community including the B and the T.  Just like in ’Blackhawk Down’, we leave no one behind.  Our outreach to these people needs to extend to ALL.  EVERYONE must learn to understand that it is more than just GAY people that are affected.  That each one of these letters in LGBT has special needs and respect.

When it comes to marriage equality, it is the same thing.  If we strip ourselves of our self imposed labeling, regardless of lesbian, intersex or bisexual, and simply calling our person as HUMAN.  You should be able to marry the HUMAN that you love regardless of anything else.  This should be important to all of us.  To share our lives with the HUMAN that we love.  Build a home and have children with the HUMAN that we love.  Practice the religious dogma with same said HUMAN.

We are here for a finite time.  We should all respect each other in a humane capacity.  Whatever the letter you should label yourself with, embrace it and identify with it.  Reach out to another letter when the opportunity comes and acknowledge that.  If you don’t know how to act around another letter, treat them like an H for HUMAN.  I’m sure it will go over great.

LGBT community protests McDonald’s sponsoring the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” Winter Olympics in Russia.

LGBT to McDonald’s: We’re Not Lovin’ It!

Oakbrook, IL – Members of the Chicagoland LGBT community will be descending on McDonald’s World Headquarters, 2111 McDonald’s Drive, Oak Brook, at 11 AM, Saturday, August 17 to protest the Corporation's continued sponsorship of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia despite the country's recently instituted homophobic “gay propaganda” laws.  The laws have sparked widespread, increased violence against LGBT persons in the country, as demonstrated by YouTube videos [2] [3] proudly circulated by brutal anti-gay activists there. 

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has stated that no signs of LGBT presence or protest will be tolerated in its venues and has failed to admonish Russia against violence and threats of violence on LGBT Olympians and spectators.  Russian authorities have boldly stated that the repressive new law would be enforced on all who attend the games.

StonewallAGAIN, an LGBT activist group in Chicago that arose out of the May failure of Illinois's marriage equality bill, is the sponsor of Saturday's protest at McDonald's world headquarters  "McDonald’s has a responsibility to disavow sponsorship if local authorities refuse to provide safety to all who participate in the games that they are promoting," said Mike Lackovich, founder of StonewallAGAIN.  "These homophobic laws enacted are similar to those passed at the start of the holocaust in Nazi Germany.  McDonald’s needs to work with the IOC to find a safe venue for all participants to compete without fear of abuse, violence or deportation for being who they are.”

In response to questions concerning the forthcoming protest, the Chicago Phoenix reported Wednesday the following statement from Suzanne Valliere, senior manager of McDonald’s Global External Communications:

“There is no room for discrimination under the Golden Arches.  McDonald’s welcomes, respects and values the diversity, culture and unique differences of our 69 million customers and nearly two million employees around the world every day.  McDonald’s supports the spirit of the Olympic Games and its ability to unite the world in a positive and inspirational way.  We’ve been a proud sponsor of the Games for 37 years.  Regarding the recent Russian legislation, we support the International Olympic Committee’s belief that sport is a human right and the Olympic Games should be open to all, free of discrimination, and that applies to spectator, officials, media and athletes.” 

"Valliere’s press release is full of fluffy words that are contrary to what is actually occurring," said Lackovich.  "The Russian government and the IOC are imposing a state of 'Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,' with tolerance for violence and threats of violence thrown in for good measure.  As experience in the U.S. has shown, the policy of 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' is discriminatory in and of itself, and in direct contradiction to the claimed 'spirit of the games.'" 

“As for the ‘diversity’ Valliere speaks to,” Lackovich said, “nearly all gay people have to go through a difficult 'coming out' phase in their lives.  To ask people to go back into the closet so they can compete in something they have aggressively trained for regardless of sexual orientation is utterly absurd.  Clearly, Valliere has no idea how painfully difficult this phase of LGBT life is.  Most in the LGBT community would find this demand offensive and unacceptable.”

Kankakee Marriage Equality Rally: Democrat Illinois House Rep Kate Cloonen...where are you?

In Kankakee on July 5th, 2013 something AMAZING happened.
A man named Randall Krause got about 175 men, women and children to help express his desire to have marriage for LGBT come to fruition with SB 10.  This in conjunction with the Supreme Court ruling striking down DOMA, gives every LGBT "married" couples the same Federal rights as every heterosexual couple.

What is standing in the way here is getting enough votes for SB 10 which allows equal marriage in Illinois. Problem lies not in the most rational of places.  In fact, Democrats are the unlikely source of homophobia and discrimination.  In this case, Democrat Illinois House Rep Kate Cloonen is stating that she will not vote for SB 10.  She is pushing her religious agenda over what would be providing benefits and protections for a minority group in her district.  Doesn't sound like she took her Oath of Office seriously when she stated that she would uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States.

When calling Washington DC to get assistance with these "rogue" Democrats, the Democratic National Committee has been very helpful.  When I discussed with them and filed a formal complaint and investigation into these rogues, they were horrified that "so-called" Democrats are NOT following the party platform.  The SAME party platform that got Barack Obama re-elected.  So stealing money from the DNC and actually being a Republican is like sheep in wolves clothing.  Eventually, you are found out and hunted down.

In this case, should Kate Cloonen vote NO to SB 10, hope she has a resume ready for Wal-Mart.  Glenn Nixon, a Republican would be the key candidate for LGBT support.  For every LGBT family, there are at least 2 straight families supporting them in the background.  That equals lots of votes for Mr. Nixon.  Who appears not to be a homophobe.  Mr. Nixon got in touch with Randall shortly after the rally stating that he did a great job.  We have been finding Republican candidates who are in support of LGBT rights.  Ron Sandack of Downers Grove is one of these standout Republicans that would sweep a homophobic Democrat out the door and into the dumpster.

Lastly, the Supreme Court decisions have now Super Charged the court cases in Illinois.  Kate and her hater friends who want "religious protections", better step up and vote YES on SB 10.  Court cases will NOT include any homophobic discrimination which they term "religious protections".  Oh, the history books will record these votes for all eternity.  Hero or Homophobe, Kate?  What will be written on your tombstone of history?

So, mark it in your history books.  July 5th, 2013... the day that Randall Krause forever changed history in Kankakee, in Illinois and in the United States.
